Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager for the Southern Region of Brazil will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational activities of the animal feed additives division within the region. They will drive business growth, manage key customer relationships, ensure compliance with local regulations, and lead a team to achieve sales targets and market expansion objectives.

 

General Functions

  • Develop and execute the country-specific business strategy aligned with global corporate goals
  • Drive sales growth and market share of animal feed additives through effective planning and execution
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with feed manufacturers, distributors, and other stakeholders
  • Appoint local distributors/agents and coordinate with KA’s
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, regulators, and industry partners
  • Lead, motivate, and manage local sales, marketing, and technical teams
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and oversee product registration processes
  • Conduct market analysis to inform product positioning, pricing strategies, and competitive intelligence
  • Collaborate with global R&D and marketing teams to adapt and promote products suitable for local markets
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and analyse market trends for informed decision-making
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and resource allocation efficiently
  • Responsible for complete P&L of the region

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agriculture or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in business management, animal nutrition, feed additives, or related industries, with a strong track record in leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of the multispecies animal feed industry, with a particular focus on the monogastric segment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate independently and develop strategic plans
  • Fluency in the local language and proficiency in English
