Job Summary
As an Import Logistics Specialist, you will manage and coordinate the entire order fulfilment process for multiple international markets. Your role ensures seamless collaboration across internal departments and external stakeholders, with a focus on timely and efficient shipment and delivery.
General Functions
- Accurately process purchase orders and invoices, resolving any issues that arise
- Responsible for the accurate preparation and administration of customs declarations
- Maintain daily contact with international suppliers and freight forwarders to track shipments
- Ensure timely delivery of goods in compliance with required quality standards
- Maintain excellent service and strong relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, sales, and finance teams
- Handle and resolve logistics-related complaints
- Identify and resolve logistical bottlenecks proactively
- Continuously look for ways to optimize logistics processes

Education / Experience Requirements
Education
- Secondary vocational education (MBO) or equivalent by gained experience
Professional experience
- Skilled in MS Office and SAP
- Customs declarant certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Result-driven and solution-focused work attitude
Languages
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Any other language is a plus
